Jesus'
Three-Fold Ministry
Teacher, Preacher, Healer

“Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their
synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of
sickness and all manner of disease among the people. …they brought unto him
all sick people that were taken with divers
diseases and torments, those which were possessed with devils, those which
were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed
them.” (Matthew 4:23,24)
Jesus had and still
has a three-fold Ministry. He still teaches, preaches and heals the
sick. He does this through obedient, believing Ministers of His Word.
(John 14:12)
But some people don’t like to be “bothered” by the
teaching and preaching parts. They like to skip the “preliminaries”
and get right to the miracles.
Of course, Jesus
doesn’t work that way. Teaching and preaching are more important than
miracles, as you will see. Teaching and preaching result in the
miracles people desire.
“And God hath set
some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers,
after that miracles, then gifts of healings...” (1 Corinthians 12:28)
Paul deliberately
listed Apostles, Prophets and Teachers before miracles and
healings. He did this because only proper preaching and teaching will
result in the kind of miracles and healings that people need.
This is
why Jesus always taught and preached before healing people. He was
getting their faith level up in order to help them tap into His power. (Romans 10:17)
This is the key to
your miracle as well. Get under the type of miracle teaching and
preaching that Jesus demonstrated and you’ll be able to tap into His power,
too!
Let’s look at more Scripture. It will raise your faith
level for your miracle.
“When the men of
that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round
about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that
they might only touch the hem of his garment: as many as touched were made
perfectly whole.” (Matthew 14:35-36)
I’d like you to
know that there was a special manifestation
that came upon Jesus for healing that day. Anyone who made contact
with Him when that special “anointing” was on Him was instantly
healed.
Sometimes this same healing “anointing” comes on me, as
well. But even if that special anointing is not on me people can
still be healed by believing what I teach and preach. They can draw
on the anointing that is on the Word of God and access the power that
way.
I want to invite
you to come to our services and hear God’s healing Word taught and
preached. Maybe a special anointing will come on me for instant
healing. Maybe you’ll just have to pull on the power of God’s miracle
Word as I teach and preach.
Either way, you can receive miracle
healing.
God’s miracle power
is like electricity. The switch needs to be thrown to make proper
contact with the power in order to get results.
Get under the proper
teaching and preaching of God’s miracle power expecting that power to flow
as you do so. You can do this. It would be unfair of God to
make it easy for some and difficult for others.
Take the first step into miracle power by saying, “Jesus, You’re my
choice as Savior and Healer.” (Romans 10:13)
The lesser miracle of
healing is contained within the greater miracle of salvation. The
lesser is always contained in the greater. That’s true in mathematics
and science. It’s equally as true in the spirit realm.
Mathematics and science originated in the spirit realm.
Come, get under
God’s miracle Word and be healed!
